      Rules and Regulations

      By electronically signing this entry form you agree to abide by the UBEA (Utah Ballroom Education Association) Rules and Regulations (click for full rules). You must also agree to the heel guard rules (heel guards in good condition are required for all ladies shoes except block heels). Parents must electronically sign the forms of anyone under 18 years old. (put NA if you are 18 or over)

      Competition Fees

      The fee to compete is $10 per couple for each Open events, $5 per couple for each Syllabus event, $5 for each Solo Lady Event, and $10 per couple for the Team Match.

      Admission Tickets

      The admission to the competition (for both competitors and spectators) will be available as follows:

      General Admission
      • - $7 per person for Friday
      • - $10 per person for Saturday
      • - $15 per person for Friday + Saturday

      Table Seating
      • - $20 per person for Friday
      • - $25 per person for Saturday
      • - $40 per person for Friday + Saturday

      Tickets can be purchased here. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door on the day of the competition.

      Payment and Registration Due Dates

      Entries due Sept 7, 2024

      September 8, 2024 and later - each entry form will have a $10 late fee.
      September 15, 2024 and later - each entry form will have a $20 late fee.
      After September 14, 2024 - late entries will only be accepted if they do not create additional rounds.

      Dancers may compete in a maximum of 2 events in any Open style and 4 events in any Syllabus style.

      Adults only. Must have graduated high school.

    • Ultimate Team Match Mixer

    • The Ultimate Team Match Mixer will allow dancers from schools or studios to compete on teams against each other. Dancers age 8-18 can compete. Couples may dance open (Pre-Teen must dance syllabus). Costumes allowed! Teams will be assembled at the competition.

      ONLY FOUR TEAMS WILL COMPETE!

      ONLY THE FIRST 20 COUPLES TO ENTER WILL COMPETE!

      The Ultimate Team Match teams will consist of 4 Junior/Youth couples and 1 Pre-Teen couple per team:

      4 Junior/Youth Partnerships (Open)

      • 1 Int Cha-Cha Couple
      • 1 Int Samba Couple
      • 1 Int Tango Couple
      • 1 Int Quickstep Couple

      1 Pre-Teen Partnership (Syllabus)

      • 1 Am Swing Couple

      I understand that heelguards in good condition are required for all ladies (except block heels). If I do not have heel guards that cover my heel, I will purchase some at the competition.

    • It is Alpine School District policy that all ASD school team members who are required by their coach to compete must have all fees paid by their school's Ballroom program.

      We will confirm your team status with your coach. Your registration fees will be sent to your coach and billed to your school's Ballroom program.
